Pinterest Finds (because I’m too busy to blog…)

Last week I just had zero blogging inspiration. If I don’t have anything to say then I’d better not say anything at all. But then this week, we had a serious health scare/crisis with my grandfather. He got out of a very successful surgery just this afternoon, and he’s doing great–but needless to say, I’ve been very preoccupied over the past few days. Add to that a very full weekend coming up, and I’m simply not capable of writing any articles or reviews this week. Again.

But hey, I thought I could at least provide a little entertainment to make up for my absence, haha. Here are some of my recent Pinterest finds–some humorous, some wise–and here’s hoping I can be a better blogger in March.

I’ve been interested in all things Gaelic lately, for Writing Purposes, and I thought these proverbs were quite…interesting. I like “The upright is upright from head to foot” the best…but I’m still wondering about “the small man’s valor.”

I’m also on a bit of an Audrey Hepburn kick on Pinterest right now. Do I favor baby-faced big-eyed actresses on account of my own large eyes and baby face? Possibly. (Also, I actually have that hairstyle at present.)

Speaking of big-eyed baby-faced actresses–JENNA, what do you have on your head?!?!

Hmm. Maybe this explains why my mom and I walk so fast…

Do you know what a relief it is to know that one of your favorite writers had a certain scene in mind that he never actually used for decades? We all grow in our craft…even when your name is C.S. Lewis.

I absolutely love this one…because that looks like MY house at Christmas time! And yes, our family is basically a small country.

My little sister got all five seasons of The Brady Bunch for Christmas, and I’m a little bit in love with it.

“This is the story of Amelia Pond…and this is how it ends.”

(*cue the tears*)

This quote will always be funny to my rather morbid sense of humor. Gotta love national grudges.

This quote, on the other hand, appeals to my better nature my growing awareness that my symphony doesn’t have to sound like anyone else’s…and that real joy and fulfillment comes from appreciating the small, beautiful gifts of life.

    1. Oh my goodness, SO fab! I love how the siblings have their little squabbles, yet they still love each other and work as a team. Very realistic, IMO. And the parents love each other! Mike is definitely my favorite. Alice makes me laugh every stinkin’ time, too XD
