Does it feel a little too good to be true? YOU BET. I can’t believe this 5-year journey is over! And yet, is a book’s journey ever really completed? I still want to donate a few copies to my local library, and sharing it with others who’ve never even heard of me or my book is something I’ll be doing for (hopefully!) many years yet. No, I don’t think the journey is “over,” per se…but the process of finally getting it out into the world is DONE.

And now, as I promised last week, let’s find out who won the paperback giveaway!

The winner is…

(*drum roll*)

MICAH DAVIS!

Congratulations, Micah! I’ll be sending you an email today, so watch your inbox 😉

In the meantime, there’s another giveaway happening on Instagram, hosted by my friend K.E. Stanton: the winner will receive a bundle of 10 new indie novels (all paperbacks, including Operation Lionhearted), while a second-place winner will receive ebooks of all 10 titles. You can read all the details HERE.

I hope everyone enjoyed the blog tour! My launch team was AMAZING, their posts fantastic. In fact, Shay’s book review will conclude the blog tour later on today. If you’d like to catch up on all the reviews and Author Q&As, you can always visit my kickoff post from last Monday.

But as I conclude this post, I’d like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all my blog readers, my newsletter subscribers, my followers on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, and (of course) my dear family and friends who have cheered me on and supported Operation Lionhearted. Some of you have been on this journey since the very beginning, and I’m so grateful for you.

I hope that Operation Lionhearted is a blessing to everyone who reads it. I hope it makes you laugh, I kinda hope it makes you cry (what can I say? I’m a writer–making you feel things is my job). But most of all, I hope this story and the good people who populate its world give you an extra shot of courage in a world that seems to going a bit mad. If you finish my novel with a smile on your face and a flicker of bravery in your heart, then I’ve done something right.

    1. Oh, Jamie, I’m really so happy!! It’s been a long journey, and I’ll be honest and admit that I had a lot of conflicting emotions yesterday…but I’m really very excited this morning about the whole thing. I hope you enjoy the book! If you don’t mind my saying so, it *is* aesthetically pleasing on a shelf 😉 (Although I have my cover designer to thank for that!)

    1. Isn’t it cool?! I can’t believe I forgot to use it earlier in the blog tour, but oh well…better late than never 😂

Is it weird to say that I’m *glad* the book made you tear up? 😅
